Alright weekend, lets do this!

For starters, Friday Fest is tonight! Weather is just right for a great night by the water with live entertainment, food and craft vendors and more. Friday Fest starts at 5:30 PM in Marina Square.

If you’re looking for a more family orientated activity, the St. Lucie County Fire District is hosting an Open House at Fire Station No. 6 located at 350 E. Midway Rd. this evening from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. The event is FREE with lots of activities for the kiddos such as bounce houses, games, giveaways, and much more!

On to Saturday:

You already know what we’re gonna say,… Farmers Market! What a way to get your Saturday morning going. It’s a tradition round’ here and we look forward to it. Starting at 8:00 AM downtown in Marina Square, Farmers Market and the Jazz Craft Market hosts vendors of all kinds from art and crafts to fresh veggies and breakfast. Its truly a one of a kind experience.

Volunteers are needed Saturday for the quarterly Moore’s Creek Cleanup. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to help keep our waterways clean and clear. Its kid friendly, family driven, and a free lunch is provided. The cleanup starts at 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM, meet up is at N. 10th Street, between Ave C & D. For more info, just follow the link:

Next, don’t miss out on the Annual Fishing Frenzy Weigh-In! Every year, anglers head out our beautiful inlet in search of Mahi Mahi, aka the Dolphin, miles off Fort Pierce shores in that beautiful blue water for a chance to win a grand prize. The weigh-in, however, is the best part! Its the perfect time to see these beautiful fish up close. The weigh in is from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Causeway Cove Marina. Parking in the Fort: There is plenty of free parking for everything happening this weekend. The City Parking garage, between Orange Ave and Ave A has 5 floors of parking and we’ve left a guide for you in the link below to see all available parking throughout downtown.
